Application Scenarios

Transportation
Interior panels in cars, high-speed trains, and airplanes are used to reduce cabin noise.

Architectural Acoustics
Offices, conference rooms, schools, hospitals, and restaurants—used to reduce indoor reverberation and enhance speech clarity. Home theaters, recording studios, KTVs, and cinemas—used to create a pristine listening environment and eliminate echoes and background noise.

Industrial noise reduction
Factory workshops, machine rooms, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, and power equipment—used as internal filling materials for soundproof enclosures or silencers.

Q&A
Q:
Is FINANO® sound-absorbing nanofiber harmful to the human body?
A:
FINANO® sound-absorbing nanofibers are produced using high-quality, clean raw materials that are safe for direct skin contact. They produce little to no dust and can achieve the performance of composite materials from other brands using just a single material, thereby effectively reducing pollution issues associated with the material-composite process.
Q:
Are FINANO® sound-absorbing nanofibers and soundproofing materials the same thing?
A:
No.
1. Sound absorption: The primary goal is to reduce reflected sound, lower indoor noise levels and reverberation time, and improve sound quality. This requires materials that are porous and breathable, allowing sound to “enter and be dissipated.”
2. Soundproofing: The primary goal is to block the propagation of sound and prevent it from traveling from one space to another (such as between rooms). This requires materials that are dense and heavy—such as lead sheets or concrete—so that sound cannot either enter or escape.
★ Sound absorption makes a room quieter and eliminates echoes, whereas sound isolation blocks external noises but can cause echoes within the room itself.
