Detailed

Product

Focusing on materials technology and process innovation, we are committed to delivering next-generation synthetic thermal solutions that are high-performance, customized, warmer, and more cost-effective.

Production Technology is Disrupting Industry Norms

Leveraging our company’s independently developed flash-spray technology (for which a patent has been applied), we have successfully created nanofibers with a unique 3D structure, significantly enhancing their performance and achieving a groundbreaking innovation in the thermal insulation materials industry.

Fiber diameter controllable from 1 to 12 μm—resulting in a more than 40% increase in the density of the heat-trapping air layer; 3D honeycomb crosslinking technology.

Each ounce of CLO is valued at over 1.39 CLO/oz, and some performance indicators even surpass those of down.

Yield rate of 90% (traditional methods ≤85%), with a 30% reduction in production energy consumption.

Basic Structural Parameters and Performance

Thermal insulation: Depending on the product’s function, thickness, and basis weight, the entire production line can achieve thermal insulation performance covering a thermal resistance range of 0.16 to 0.45, a clo value range of 0.93 to 2.77, and a heat transfer coefficient range of 0.04 to 0.13, thus delivering highly efficient thermal insulation performance.

Compression recovery rate (Gold-standard P-cotton reference rebound rate): 67%.

Breathability: The porous fiber structure provides excellent breathability.

Humidity adjustment: There are two styles: one that does not absorb moisture and another that wicks it away. The non-absorbent style allows moisture to quickly escape through the gaps between fibers, making it ideal for dry environments. The moisture-wicking style remains dry even when absorbing up to 30% moisture, making it perfect for humid climates or individuals who tend to sweat easily.

Weight: Moderate weight, superior fit compared to down, and resistant to clumping even under prolonged pressure.

All products along the entire line are customizable, with a short development cycle and low sampling costs.

Q&A

Q:

What is FINANO® insulating nanofiber?

A:

FINANO® thermal insulation nanofibers are fibers with diameters at the nanoscale. Through specialized material selection and structural design, these fibers are blended in specific proportions to maximize capillary action, giving them exceptional ability to resist heat transfer. These fibers rely not only on the inherent thermal resistance of the materials themselves but, more importantly, leverage their nanoscale dimensions and porous structure to effectively inhibit all three modes of heat transfer: conduction, convection, and radiation.

Q:

What is the fundamental difference between FINANO® thermal insulation nanofibers and traditional insulation materials?

A:

Different mechanisms: Traditional materials primarily rely on stationary, static air for thermal insulation (since air is a poor conductor of heat). In contrast, nanofibers achieve superior thermal insulation through the following mechanisms:

1. Ultrafine fibers: The finer the fibers, the more stationary air they can trap within the same volume, resulting in a fluffier structure and a more tortuous path for heat conduction.

2. Nanonetworks: When the fiber diameter is smaller than the mean free path of air molecules, it becomes difficult for air molecules to transfer heat via convection.

3. Performance Advantages: Under the same thermal insulation performance, nanofiber materials can be made thinner, lighter, and more flexible.

Q:

What are the main advantages of FINANO® thermal insulation nanofibers?

A:

1. Ultra-high thermal insulation: Achieves exceptionally high thermal performance with an extremely lightweight design.

2. Lightweight, thin, and flexible: This breaks the traditional notion that “heaviness equals warmth,” making it ideal for producing lightweight outdoor apparel and specialized protective clothing.

3. Multifunctionality: It is easy to add functional particles to achieve additional features such as antibacterial and antistatic properties.
